“This amazing dress uniform jacket was tailor made for an officer of in the mid 1980s by Gieves and Hawkes. Founded in 1771, Gieves & Hawkes of Savile Row are one of the oldest and most respected tailors in the world.
As you would expect from such a venerable company, it is beautifully made. It features fantastic insignia brass buttons (which are removable for washing) and wonderful fine but strong cotton drill fabric. It is the cut however which really sets this jacket apart: Featuring an elegant & slim silhouette, the subtle shaping to the body and sleeves and the level of finish visible on this unlined jacket is truly remarkable.
There are a couple of small marks on the back, other than that it is in great condition.”
